What will I be doing?
As a member of our team you will deliver hire plant & tools to our customers in-and-around London and further afield in a timely and professional manner, as per our customer requirements. Routes will be put into a specific order each day by the office and must be followed unless instructed otherwise throughout the day. At each delivery or collection point it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure paperwork is completed clearly and correctly and all equipment accounted for. This includes marking missing equipment & components, and damaged equipment on the paperwork which means thoroughly checking the equipment and taking pictures. Once all work is complete, you are to call the office to confirm if there are any other customer requirements before making your way back to the depot. Upon return to the depot it is the driver’s responsibility to off-load the vehicle and double check all equipment and paperwork. When on customer sites, there may be a requirement to carry out hire equipment demonstration and drivers must ensure that all relevant checks and administration involved for the hire are completed accurately. Our customers safety is at the forefront of everything we do, so you will need to adhere and be compliant to all tool hire processes and procedures including all tool hire audits and inspections. Vehicle checks will need to be performed and completed daily, and vehicles are to be cleaned weekly to maintain a positive representation of the company.
